Vietnam veteran, Evan Reid, who moves his family to a quaint, seemingly peaceful town called Bethany's Sin for a fresh start. However, he soon discovers the town is dominated by a sinister cult led by the mayor, Kathryn Drago, which worships ancient Amazonian warrior spirits. At night, the women of the town, possessed by these spirits, hunt and harm men as part of a ritual, and Evan realizes his family is in grave danger.
